About Paul

Paul has extensive derivatives experience gained over the past eighteen years working in the investment banking industry. He has worked as in-house counsel providing legal advice and support to OTC and exchange-traded derivative, structured tax, collateral trading and money market businesses, as well as advising on the relevant regulatory issues.

He qualified as a solicitor for England and Wales during his time in the Derivatives and Securities Finance legal team at Deutsche Bank, where he negotiated derivatives trading documentation with fund clients. He has also supported the treasury teams on corporate, funding and trading matters at various banks. In addition Paul established and led the legal and documentation team for the derivatives sales and trading businesses at Investec together with providing legal support to the central treasury funding desk during his nine years there.
